Strategic Purchaser

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of goods and services to support smooth and efficient operations
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and collaborate on pricing, delivery, and agreements
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability
  • Analyze markets and costs to identify opportunities for improvements and value creation
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulations, and sustainability ambitions
  • Work closely with colleagues across Operations, R&D, and Finance to achieve shared goals
  • Contribute to and lead sub-projects within procurement and supply chain activities
  • Drive continuous improvements

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor / Master in logistics, supply chain or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, supplier follow-up and contract negotiation preferably in Electronics
  • Good business understanding, proactive and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
  • High flexibility and ability to execute
