We are a high-tech company which develops and manufactures high accuracy tactical grade gyro sensors, gyro modules and IMUs. The Gyro and IMU solutions are used by global customers in the Industrial, Space, Aerospace and Defense markets. Safran Sensing Technologies Norway operates its own MEMS wafer fab, Assembly and Test of gyro modules and IMUs. We are based in Horten where we deliver our products to leading customers worldwide.

Project Leader - Digitalization

Are you passionate about digital transformation? Do you thrive in a systematic, forward-thinking environment? We are seeking a responsible and driven Project Leader for Digitalization to spearhead our ongoing and future digital initiatives. In this role, you will lead the implementation of our next-generation ERP, MES, and PLM systems over the coming years. As a key member of a cross-functional team, you'll contribute to optimizing business processes and driving technological advancement across the organization.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage digitalization projects across cost, timeline, resources, and quality dimensions.
  • Lead and execute projects related to ERP, MES, and PLM system implementation.
  • Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for digital efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop and implement tailored tech solutions.
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Provide strategic guidance to management on digital transformation and technology trends.
  • Evaluate digital systems post-implementation and lead continuous improvement efforts.

 

Qualifications/skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience with ERP, MES, and PLM systems, ideally including SAP, Proficy Plant Applications (GE Vernova), and 3DExperience (Dassault Systèmes).
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
