The job
As Maintenance Manager, you will take on a central position within a technical organization. You join a team of 20-25 colleagues – all collaborating to keep the baggage system running 24/7/365. Every day presents new situations – from a suitcase that’s stuck to technical issues. Your primary responsibility is to lead the maintenance department and to ensure uptime and optimal operations.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Oversee all maintenance operations and ensure alignment with contract
  • Customer relation and coordination
  • Team leadership and shift planning
  • Budget and resource management as well as reporting
  • Management of maintenance strategies (preventive/remedial) and technical improvements
  • Implement maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Management of inventory and ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, performance, and documentation standards.

Your profile
Result-orientated and decisive are words that describe you. With your analytical mindset and technical experience, you structure and plan both your own and the team's tasks and resources. You believe that clear communication and leadership keep people motivated and secures that the job is done. Moreover, you bring the following qualifications to the job:

  • A technical education, e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or marine engineering and similar
  • Some years of management experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of modern maintenance methods and maintenance software
  • Experience with budget management and project management
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian
